I'm not exactly sure if this was related to your mod or not, after recruiting Grunt. I went to check my private terminal, then boom. I started to load to somewhere. Then there I was in a blank choice wheel, with only investigate and nothing was there! I was at the captain's quarters. I reloaded a new save, and went to the private terminal at the captain's quarters. I heard Admiral Hackett for a second then went back to before. All I found was this post on EA, but there wasn't a solution

None of the ME games have native controller support There is a pretty good controller mod for ME2. Theres one for ME3 as well, but as far as I know it is not as seamless as the one for ME2. I have never known of one for ME1. I have tried to use the steam controller, the xbox controller and the Ps4 controller and none of them works in this game, and they are perfectly working with other games that I play here. I have also tried to iniciate the game as administrator, and that doesn´t work either. When going to the game from my steam library and before iniciate it, appears already on steam a message saying that this game requires keyboard and mouse. Hi I'm trying to play ME1 (PC) using ps4 controller (with inputmapper emulator and ME1 controller mod). Can't get past start screen i.e can't find a button press on controller that will get me into game menu. Have played game with xbox controller so I know it should work. Any ideas someone would like to share over this? Thanks

I'm not sure if it is the primary xinput; i don't currently have other controllers connected (though there have been others in the past as my old ones died), but i do have a wireless mouse and keyboard connected.
